Cuala and Ballyboden St Enda’s will face off in the Dublin Senior final after the two teams booked their spots on Sunday afternoon.
Cuala will still be dreaming of back to back to titles as they recorded a 1-17 to 0-13 win over Lucan.
It looked like a shock was on the cards as Lucan took the game to the reigning champions and lead 07-05 and half time but when the push came to shove Cuala showed their experience and class and scored 1-6 in the last ten minutes.
Seán Moran netted for Cuala as the tide turned the men from Dalkey’s way, while David Treacy top scored for the men in red and white.
In the other semi – final Ballyboden overcame Na fianna to the tune of 1-15 to 0-12.
Na fianna started confident and took a three point lead with just over 20 on the clock left thanks to Colin Currie finding slotting between the posts to make it 0-11- to 0-8.
But just like Lucan did in their semi-final Na Fianna fell away and Ballyboden stepped it up in the last 20 minutes as Paul led the charge on the Na Fianna goals with an impressive (1-8).
In the last twenty it looked like Ballyboden wanted a place in the final moire and out scored Na Fianna hugely thanks to the efforts of Conal Keaney, Paul Ryan, Simon Lambert and James Madden who ensured Ballyboden booked their final spot while Na Fianna will have to wait for their maiden senior hurling final.
